Food Holidays

Who does not love a reason to celebrate. Any excuse to party, celebrate, enjoy friends, family and good food is something this couple is always up for! But did you know that there are food holidays.

Shortbread & Vanilla Milkshake
It is actually pretty legit. Every single day has a food based holiday. Jen's birthday is National Bean Day & National Shortbread Day. Ziggy's birthday is National Vanilla Ice Cream Day. Personally I think Shortbread and Vanilla Ice Cream pair well together. (Yes, I am completely disregarding the beans)

Along with every day having a food holiday each month as a over all holiday as well. Some months (like some days) even have multiple holidays so that you can multiply your fun! So since we love food and friends we thought up a wonderful idea. Or at least we think so.

The first Friday of every single month we will start our Food Holiday! To celebrate the foods or dishes of that particular month we are going to post up 1 delicious recipe to celebrate. Of course we want you to join in our celebration too!

Let us see how you celebrate! What would you bring to this pot - luck foodie chow down!? All you have to do is take a pic of your food holiday item, jot down the recipe for us, and slap the cute little button on your post! This way others can grab a chair at the pot luck if they want to too!
