Back from Boulder

Guess who's back?!

I am back from Boulder baby! Thus, subsequently stealing the blog for umm about a week haha. 

Talk about a breath taking view!

First I want to these three ladies for a memorable weekend!

Lindsey, Sarah,  and Janetha, who pulled this event off and were more kind, beautiful and hysterical then you can imagine. These ladies were nothing short of inspiration and I could seriously write a whole post on how much they rock!

There is so much to tell you and show you and just remember. 

Over all the Blend retreat was AMAZING.

It was really nice meeting some fab ladies, learning more about them and just hanging out! Unlike other conferences or whatever that I have been to (just nursing ones) there was no clicks. Everyone hung out with everyone. And it was nice, and chill and nothing short from amazing. 

We had a few activities which you could or could not participate it (it was totally up to you) and there was plenty of time to see Boulder and enjoy new blog friends aka Blends.

My cabin was full to the brim with some wonderful women and the cabin itself was nothing short of charming.

Just a short run down of these ladies.

Maria: Super sweet lady who lives in California. She comes to Virgina often so hopefully we can meet up 1 trip! She did all of the "activities" which included boot camp, hike and yoga. She also got a rental car and drove everyone back to the airport! Thanks again lady.

Sarah: Sarah is a ball of energy. And love. She has a story for everything and is as she says a "vegan with benefits" who often goes by Ms. Smart over at http://www.thesmartkitchenblog.com/. She makes some awesome nut butters too. More on that later.

Jessica: A true bad ass & excellent roommate! She is hysterical and has a tell it like it is attitude. Loved it! She is all about balance in her life & recently has some pretty exciting news about a condo. Read more about Jessica at http://www.blissnbalance.com/

Lindsey:  The mind behind the Foodie Pen Pal program. Lindsey is super active and one night even jogged over to the "main lodge" after a 4 mile hike. Which she was the first back from. She blogs over at http://www.theleangreenbean.com/

Of course there was amazing food - more of that in later posts - and it was amazing these fellowship of everyone there. It was strange to haul around a camera, or take multiple pictures from several angles before you even dreamed of digging into a plate. 

 The first day for breakfast after boot camp I sat with a bunch of ladies from the Bay area of California and perhaps a few familiar faces?
Courtney and Alyssa and their giant cameras were not an oddity at all!

It was hard saying goodbye to this view!! But I am going to probably re-cap all week long and reminisce by reading some of my new friends blogs! Our reader is full of them now!
