Are you worth the 1%

If your mother, father, sister, brother, or spouse needed something that you could give them wouldn't you do it?

I don't understand why we (women) don't treat ourselves and our bodies with the same respect and dignity as we do to others. We constantly judge, compare and criticize ourselves. We - and society as a whole - focus on all of the wrongs  and none of the rights.

Celebrities are made to be paper thin and young girls are encouraged to emulate that behavior. Any one who puts on weight - Christina Aguilar, Jessica Simpson - is openly bad mouth, bashed and bullied.

Maybe not the best fashion choice but she is closer to an "average" women in this picture then in this one.

These are busy women - just as the average lady is - and we often put others before ourselves. We would give our spouse all the time in the world but barely spend 5 minutes for ourselves.

I am currently reading a book - Working Out Sucks ( and why it doesn't have to) - and it made me realize. We need to stop, smell the roses and do something for ourselves ladies!

This book make made realize that time is our most valued currency. We have 10,080 minutes a week to spend (or waste). If you take 120 minutes per week - JUST 1% of your time- to exercise, take care of your self, and work on a building a healthier body  in the gym you can begin to reach your goals. Whatever those goals may be.

Better physical health leads to better emotional, mental and sexual health. Better health to share with your family and anyone else that matters.

Aren't you are worth the 1% ??

PEACE, LOVE AND PIZZA,

  1. I'm glad you posted this about JS — she is still gorgeous no matter what size she is. I almost wonder if she had to gain a little weight anyway just to be able to get pregnant.

Also — she's like 5' tall. Being a short chick, I realize that 10 lbs can look like 50 on somebody of that stature. Good for her for owning it!
